Air Arabia has announced the launch of a new non-stop service connecting Sharjah to Munich, further expanding the airline’s European network. The daily flights between Sharjah International Airport and Munich International Airport are scheduled to commence on December 15, 2025. The new route represents a significant addition to Air Arabia’s growing list of European destinations and provides travellers with increased options for affordable and convenient air travel between the UAE and Germany.

The service is expected to cater to both business and leisure passengers, enhancing connectivity to one of Europe’s major economic and cultural centres. Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, emphasized the strategic importance of the new route. He stated, “The launch of our new non-stop service to Munich marks another important step in expanding our European network from the United Arab Emirates to key global destinations. Munich stands as one of Germany’s leading economic and cultural centres, offering strong appeal for both business and leisure travellers.

This new route reflects our continued commitment to delivering affordable, value-driven travel options while advancing our long-term growth strategy. We look forward to welcoming our passengers onboard and offering them a seamless and comfortable travel experience.” Munich, the capital of Bavaria, is recognized as a major hub for commerce, technology, and tourism. It is also home to renowned cultural landmarks, making it an attractive destination for visitors from the Middle East.

New Munich route strengthens Air Arabia’s European network expansion

The introduction of direct flights from Sharjah is expected to further stimulate tourism and trade links between the UAE and Germany. The addition of Munich complements Air Arabia’s existing European network, which includes destinations such as Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo, Krakow, Warsaw (Chopin and Modlin), and Prague. The airline’s expanding operations reflect its commitment to offering passengers greater choice and connectivity at competitive fares.

With this development, Air Arabia continues to reinforce its position as a key low-cost carrier serving the region, focusing on accessible travel solutions that meet the growing demand for affordable flights to Europe. The daily service to Munich will provide both individuals and businesses with a reliable travel option linking two important regions. The airline has confirmed that tickets for the new route are now available for booking through its website, mobile app, and travel agencies, ahead of the inaugural flight later this year. – By MENA Newswire News Desk.
